Net4Science published a review on bioactive components of the Mediterranean Diet endowed with multi-target mechanism of action in the treatment and prevention of cancer pathologies

In view of specific research activities of Net4Science, the scientific team of the spinoff started a focus campaign on bioactive components able to exert beneficial effects against complex diseases. The first review, published on the prestigious European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, reports a focus on anti-cancer agents included in some popular ingredients of the Mediterranean Diet and endowed with multi-target mechanism of action, the scientific core business of Net4Science. This manuscript is supported also by the COST Action CA15135 and PRIN 2017 research project “Novel anticancer agents endowed with multi-targeting mechanism of action” (201744BN5T), in which several scientists of the spinoff are involved too.
